Found a Fossil on TuneFM

“Culturally and scientifically, there is still so much we can learn from fossils and artefacts. So even if you think it’s a rock, it’s still always worth telling someone, because it could actually be the next big thing.”

I was recently able to spend a fortnight learning how to prep fossils at the University of New England, and while I was there, I was invited to come and speak on the UNE student radio station TuneFM. I had a great time chatting about the Found a Fossil reasearch project and survey results to Ash Taylor, as well as exploring why we care about fossils and artefacts from around the world.

You can read more about our talk here.
