This year’s FIRST LEGO League theme is UNEARTHED, and it’s been my absolute pleasure to have been flown down to Tasmania for the Burnie Regional competition by the inspiring team at GreenSTEM Education as the keynote speaker for the event!

With a background in both Egyptian Archaeology and Palaeontology, I got to share my favourite sites, artefacts and stories from across the globe, and share ideas on what technologies we may adopt in the future 🔬

With extra school visits at Parklands High School and Montello Primary School, a fossil touch table, and an archaeology workshop for students, it was a mammoth few days that had me answering everything from ‘What did a Diprotodon taste like?’ to ‘What challenges do archaeologists face in the field?’ 🪏
